The Philadelphia Flower Show opened to the public much later than normal, and outside for the first time in its nearly two-hundred year old history. WISH was invited back for our 4th outing as a black sheep in the show… creating an art installation thru an artists eyes, rather than as a florist or landscaper. I get such satisfaction from creating comprehensive installations that are guaranteed to be viewed by tens of thousands of visitors.

Design for Faraway, So Close

this past June, my vision came to fruition based on my experience within the pandemic related shutdown of 2020. I transformed vintage phone booths into tiny houses and fabricated a victorian-inspired greenhouse to serve as cramped spaces that seemed recently inhabited. I wanted to visually illustrate an exaggerated space where the inhabitants focused on spending time creating conventional beauty, within unconventional spaces.
